Kelcy Purcell

Children’s Director

Kelcy was born and raised in Brownwood, Texas, and proudly calls this area home. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business management and worked many years in banking before deciding to pursue her dreams and obtain a teaching degree.

Currently, she teaches first grade at an area elementary school, and loves getting to spend her days helping kids learn and grow both at school and within her church family.

She is married to Joshua Purcell, and they have two children, Weston and Carson.

Kelcy’s faith journey began with First Baptist Bangs, and she feels blessed to be able to build the relationships that come with a church family like this one.

She currently serves as the Interim Children’s Director and is excited to help spread the gospel among the hearts of our most precious treasure – our children.
