Duncan Welborn

Worship Leader

Born in Yorktown Virginia, Duncan grew up in several locations across the south including Thibodaux Louisiana, and League City Texas. While in Thibodaux, Duncan served as a volunteer guitarist at University Baptist Church. At 13 years old, he discovered his true passion for music and God’s calling toward worship ministry in his life. This service culminated with a stent as interim worship leader at University Baptist Church from the fall of 2016 to the spring of 2017.

In May of 2022, Duncan graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor of the Arts in Biblical languages. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Theology at Howard Payne University and expects to graduate in 2024.

Duncan and his Fiancée, Mary Beth, consider themselves privileged and blessed to work alongside the staff of FBC Bangs for the glory of God.
